If you are ever looking for a book about the financial crisis of 2007 and how we got to that point there isn’t a book I could more strongly recommend than Matt Taibbi’s Griftopia. While he never apologizes for being left Taibbi still takes the time to bash all the greedy and short sighted individuals that got us to where we are now. What separates Griftopia from other books on the same subject matter is Taibbi takes the time to break down the complexities as if the reader is a middle schooler. Additionally Taibbi takes a very bland subject matter and manages to make you laugh out loud at times throughout the book. It’s a short read so go out grab it and educate yourself a little more.
